Rod

This is my brother, Rod! I may be a bit biased, but he is a very interesting individual. Outdoor activities started at an early age. Stopping to pick up turtles & snakes wasn't Mom's favorite thing, but we often did. Rod has worked on rivers, in caves, & in multiple state & national parks. Wilderness survival courses with troubled teens helped many of them turn their lives around. Fighting forest fires in the west & working to prevent them took him to live in Montana.

Rod combines Dad's creative mechanical genius with Mom's curiosity & writing skills. He has designed multiple bicycles & other cycles as transportation, cargo hauling & therapeutic devices. Innovative housing designs & sustainable building practices were practical applications of his ideas. Wide-ranging discussions about science & religion always provoke deeper thinking.
